It is my great pleasure to cordially invite you to the 2021 International Conference of Korea Dementia Association (IC-KDA 2021), which will be held online and at Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul, Korea on 1-2 October 2021.
The mission of IC-KDA is to establish an active collaboration of clinicians, researchers, nurses, and neuropsychologists involved in all aspects of basic, translational, and clinical science and to provide an opportunity for communication with colleagues and professionals for academic and cultural experiences in dementia and related disorders.
In light of the coronavirus, the way we approach dementia needs to change. I believe the theme of this meeting, “Current and Future in Dementia,” is quite appropriate in that it will be a time to exchange discoveries and ideas.
I welcome and appreciate all of the accomplished speakers who will be sharing their recent data with participants. Enjoy attending focused sessions to hear breaking research from the comfort of your own home, including insightful lectures, poster presentations, and more. The global network of clinical and translational dementia scientists will be at your fingertips, so please take the opportunity to build important relationships and initiate conversations with each other.
I hope that through this time of mutual learning and collaboration, we will be able to use our collective discoveries to improve patients' lives and that of their caregivers toward a better humanity.
Warmest regards.
KunWoo Park. MD, PhD.
President, Korean Dementia Association
Chair, IC-KDA 2021
